I’m happy to be able to show these engagement pics. It was their first professional photo session together and they were a bit nervous. They had found a beautiful area for photos, completely surrounded by apple trees in full bloom and smelling sweet. First in glorious black & white and then in glorious color.

I had a special session with a friend of a friend from Ohio who was in Chicago for the weekend. Being the nature lover that I am, I suggested a warm indoors location although we ended up shooting at several different locations over the weekend.

I hope to see more of this kind of advertising – telling a story with pictures – because it is what photographs do best. What is being sold is secondary to the ideas in the story narrated by our own Paul Harvey. Picture yourself in that story, that it is about you and your family instead of Ram trucks, and you have an album telling the story of your family. What a treasure that would be.
