We brought our instant photo booth to our last wedding. Guests loved hamming it up in a series of poses — there was a big crowd around the booth all night! Everyone got a print for themselves, and one to paste into a keepsake album for the bride and groom. We’re having a ton of fun with this thing — it’s an amazing crowd-pleaser!

Gretchen and Thomas saw each other for the first time on their wedding day in a quiet corner of Lincoln Park where they exchanged little gifts for one another. Then they and the wedding party were off to some Chicago hotspots for photography, especially locations that showed the grandeur and magnificence of Chicago architecture. With Blue Angels flying overhead in formation from the Air and Water Show, we found several great spots for fun photos. Then back to Lincoln Park for their ceremony among flowers and then on to A New Leaf for their reception where everyone was told the story by Thomas during his speech about when he fell in love with Gretchen at first sight.

Jackie and Matt were married on July 17 and are coming in to approve their album design tomorrow! They want to have it finished before the school year starts, this might be the fastest we’ve ever finished a design.

Marna and Karl had their big day at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston, IL, featuring a lavishly lit ceremony in the grand ballroom.

The median of Michigan Ave. provided a great non-traditional posing spot… at night no less! But first we hit the beach at sunset for city views and a pink and blue sky.

It’s amazing how often photogenic moments happen in the elevator on the way to the ceremony… nothing to do now but remember to breathe!
