Union Pier Vacation
Union Pier was an idyllic location for this family vacation.

I gave a brief talk this morning on my wedding and portrait photography to a networking group, Chicago Business Network. It covered what’s needed to properly document and photograph the major events in peoples lives and their families as they change and grow. I love photographing families and generations of families and contributing to their traditions of what is passed from one generation to another. People are the most photographed subjects in the world, ever since photography began! ;+) And that history is to capture someone as they are at the moment, right now, today, before they change, whether its an infant baby or a 4 generation picture from children to great grandparents. Whether its chasing a 1 year old around the room who is both on the phone and pushing her shopping cart or she is just learning to play the piano with little fingers on big piano keys, its important to Capture the Joy, that’s my studio’s new motto, Capture the Joy of life being lived in the moment with your family and loved ones.
If anyone knows of a group that would like me to speak to them about the importance of photographing their family and preserving family traditions while adding those fun moments that are so precious, I would like to hear from them. I can also give instructions and photography advice on how to best use an amateur camera to any group that is interested. Roger, 773-227-3680
Mia looked adorable for photos in a Hello Kitty dress… nice job mom!

The verdant flora of Garfield Park Conservatory really got these kids’ attention.

No playground dolphins or younger brothers were injured in the making of these photographs.
